The information collected from you when you contact us is used solely for the purpose of dealing with your request.  We respect your privacy and do not sell personal patient information to third parties.

M-Power is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.  Should we ask you to provide certain information; you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

• Name and job title
• Contact information including e-mail address, telephone numbers
• Demographic information such as address, postcode, preferences and interests
• Relevant medical information
• Other information relevant to your request

What we do with the information we gather:

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service and in particular for the following reasons:

• Internal record keeping
• We may use the information to improve our products and services

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information in secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure any information we collect from you.

Data retention

All physiotherapy records will be retained for 8 years from date of last treatment and for children, 8 years after 18th birthday or 25 years of age. Once retention period has expired, we will securely destroy and dispose of the records.

Your rights

The DPA and GDPR give you the right to access information held about you by us.  Please write to us if you wish to request confirmation of what information we hold relating to you.  There is no charge for requesting that we provide you with details of the personal data we hold.  We will provide this information within one month of you requesting this data.
